Performance was a bit flat...
After listening to Mr. Sedaris for years on audio books I was hoping for a bit more seeing him live. The live performance was 95% no different than listing to an audio book accept I heard more R rated language. And also Mr. Sedaris never left the podium. How about walking around the stage a bit and engaging the audience a bit more. And how about using have some graphic images to enhance what was being talked about. There were more disappointing moments than favorite moments for me. And there were things I really didn't need to hear, like when he spoke about feeding a tumor that he had removed to a turtle. REALLY???
